Reviews and Ratings
Waidroka Bay Resort is a hidden gem for diving enthusiasts and those looking to escape the crowded tourist spots. I had a fantastic time diving with a knowledgeable instructor, and the friendly atmosphere made my stay feel like home. However, there are definitely some areas for improvement, particularly regarding the facilities and service consistency. Overall, the value for money is decent, but some aspects were disappointing.
I had quite the experience at this resort. The surfing was definitely a mixed bag — great for the advanced surfers, but challenging for intermediates like me. The accommodations were decent, but I felt a bit isolated at times. Still, the friendliness of the staff and the unique local experiences, like the Kava ceremony, were definite highlights.
My stay at Waidroka Resort was generally pleasant, especially for surfing enthusiasts. The location was beautiful, surrounded by lush gardens that made for a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. However, the room experience was less than ideal, notably concerning cleanliness and comfort, which was disappointing considering the overall experience we expected.
Our stay at Waidroka was a mixed bag. The accommodations were spacious and very clean, which we appreciated. The staff went above and beyond to help us when things went awry. However, the value for activities like snorkeling felt lacking and the food prices were on the higher side. Overall, it was a relaxing experience, but some improvements are desperately needed.
My stay at the resort was fantastic, a true escape into nature! The diving was incredible and the staff went above and beyond to make my experience special. I loved the home-cooked meals and the jungle surroundings. However, there were minor issues with water availability in the rooms, which made things a bit inconvenient during my departure.
